This March I will…

Sunny, warm days are upon us here in the mountains. My heart is expanding and my body is relaxing from the warmth. February was a challenging month, it brought a lot of uncertainty, health challenges and many cold days. This March, I am focusing on giving myself more time. Time away from my devices, time alone in nature, time alone with my thoughts and time to just be. I know that giving myself that space can be challenging, so I am accepting that discipline as a source of freedom. I will be focusing on finding discipline in my days by marking my calendar with breaks, taking time in nature, meditating and doing nothing.

February also brought me to fall deeply in love with making my own clothing. March will be full of making many new pieces for my wardrobe. I see some dresses, skirts and cropped tops in my future using upcycled fabric from local thrift stores. When I am sewing, my worries wash away, my love for fashion floods me and then I have a new piece to wear that I made. Then Kyle asks “who are you wearing” and I get to say, “me”,  I made it and it brings a smile to my face.

This March I will also:

  • Plan a solo retreat day

  • Set firm boundaries with my phone time. I will be using the Freedom app to assist me in maintaining those boundaries

  • Eat lunch everyday

  • Get in the cold plunge everyday

  • Take a dance class

  • Let go of my expectations of life

  • Find out answers about my heart

  • Try seed cycling

What will you be doing this March? Let me know in the comments!
